About Totebox logistics

 Since 1997, Centrex has delivered maintenance services with a no-outsourcing philosophy, relying on our in-house, IT-supported network to ensure full asset control. Building on this expertise and our lean operational model from the IT sector, we’re now launching the Totebox Logistics Network to bring our innovative supply chain solutions to a wider audience.

In 2022, we conducted a feasibility study in the energy sector, analysing parts purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and reverse logistics. We identified inefficiencies—multiple suppliers, regional operators, and a reliance on two dominant logistics providers (a traditional carrier and a static box network)—mirroring IT supply chain challenges. Static systems, with limited capacity and complex returns, drove up costs and environmental impact.

In 2023, we acquired a small energy sector distributor of parts and meters, gaining firsthand insight into the sector’s supply chain. This fuelled the development of our proprietary APPTRAK software and implemented a Lifecycle solution. The result is Totebox Logistics: a nationwide mobile box network that transforms the restrictive fixed-box model delivering an advanced innovative flexible and sustainable intelligent system—powered by Centrex.
